EBFG congratulates all East Bay Fencers who competed at the 2025 Summer Nationals from June 28th-July 7th in Milwaukee, WI! We had an awesome showing and spectacular results! East Bay Fencers WON GOLD IN 3 EVENTS! And Also WON 1 SILVER! 1 BRONZE! AND 1 Top 8 Medal!

East Bay Fencers Gym is home to the 2025 Vet Men’s Epee Team NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! Congratulations to EBFG Team 3: Mehmet Tepedelenlioglu, Keith Lichten, Kyle Yamasaki and Justin Hunter! Congratulations to Mehmet, Keith, and Kyle for earning their spots on the 2025 USA VET Men’s Epee WORLD TEAM! Awesome Fencing Guys!

East Bay Fencers Gym is home to 3X National Champion! and 2X Y-12 Women’s Epee National Champion Sophia Habek! Congratulations to Sophia for WINNING GOLD in Y-12 Women’s Epee for the SECOND YEAR in a row! And for WINNING BRONZE in Y-14 and earning her A25 rating! Sophia competed in 5 Events at this NAC! She was also 10th in Cadet, 38th in Div 1, and 47th in Junior! Congrats to Sophia for bringing home a Championship Title and a Bronze Medal! Awesome Fencing Sophia!

Congrats to the 2025 Vet 50 Men’s Epee National Champion! Mehmet Tepedelenlioglu for WINNING GOLD in Vet 50 Men’s Epee! And Congrats to Justin Hunter for also making the podium, winning 5th place and for earning his A25 rating! Awesome Fencing Guys!
